Too quick to allege disruption at DRV

Newyorkbrad, MBisanz, User_talk:MZMcBride#Dominic_McDevitt-Parks, User_talk:Pigsonthewing, please don't threaten blocks or talk of "abuse of process" for filing a DRV. Consider the Chilling effect (law) on the observers. DRV is a well-watched, robust, mature place, and one of the most effective places for correcting and ensuring correct administrative behaviour, and it is not OK to make it look scary. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:25, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

History-only undeletion

Why are people instructed to come here for history-only undeletion? It seems to be a basic and non-controversial process; either the current page is good enough that the admin should restore the old content, or it's not. May we dump history-only from the purview of DRV and officially shift it to WP:REFUND? Yes, there will be deleted content that is bad enough that it shouldn't be restored for a good new article, but those are comparable to things that the REFUND admins handle frequently, such as spam, copyvios, and good A7-candidate biographies. DRV is a place where we should discuss potentially bad closures; housekeeping undeletion such as history-only belongs at REFUND. I'll leave a note at the REFUND talk.
